Dayne Wray is a 2025 SS/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Smithville, MS who attends Tupelo. Medium young build. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance, good shift and balance into contact, line drive swing plane, showed the ability to hit the ball hard to all fields, consistent timing and swing path, should continue to improve as a hitter as he gets stronger. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has some foot quickness and moves to his right well, has some carry to his throws from a higher arm slot, actions can get long at times. Excellent student.
