Reid Wood is a 2027 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Wimberley, TX who attends Wimberley. Leaner, high-waisted frame. Ran a 7.99 in the sixty. Good showing in first base and outfield drills. Quicker turns to bag at first and fits mold of position. Accurate arm, changes slots well. Funnels well in outfield and works through it well. Solid accuracy to the bag with some developing strength behind it. Also pitched, mid three-quarter slot and medium arm circle. Worked the outer half of the plate well and curve has promising shape. Left-handed hitter, solid all fields contact and timing. Clears front side well when squared with promising pull-side contact. More in store as he matures.
