Easton Blanton is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Hahira, GA who attends Lowndes. Long-limbed athletic build with good present strength and plenty of physical projection remaining. Works from a full hands over the head wind up ad a high 3/4's arm slot, gets down the mound and extends well through release, can use his strong body more in his mechanics. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Threw a soft curveball that had some vertical depth and also killed the spin well on a firm change up. Should continue to improve in all areas. 7.68 runner in the sixty. Worked out in both the outfield and infield, plays corner infield when not on the mound, showed his arm strength well in drills, had solid footwork and actions in the infield and worked low and through the ball well. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, lays the bat back early, has some strength and jump off the barrel, hit under control well and got to his strength often, gap to gap contact, has some hitting tools to develop. Good student. Named to the National Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
