Jacob Aguilar is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-3 110 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Cornerstone Christian. He posted a 8.37 in the 60 yard dash. Primary SS, he displayed a knowledge for the right actions through the play while his hands worked smoothly to receive and transfer. The present mobility is fine showing off the footwork to both sides, sound fundamentals heading in the right direction. Limited physicality for now translates to the arm strength, much more to anticipate as he advances his overall defensive tool. Also pitched, the right hander topped the fastball out at 63 with some late cut life. Did fine working to contact showing some feel for the zone early in his outing. Simple operation limiting use of the body, a lot of maturing down the line to show for. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow open stance and high back elbow load with a leg lift trigger. Short compact swing was on plane early and connected out front with some loft in his swing. A lot of upside in his contact tool showed in his barrel control and feel for his timing. The swing is playable with room to add strength to the package. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
