Jayten Casias is a 2029 SS/RHP, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-2 110 lb. frame from Schertz, TX who attends Samuel Clemens. Smaller, developing frame with plenty of time and room to mature. Recorded a 7.40 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary middle-infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Displayed a clean funnel out in-front, some lateral range and a fundamentally sound glove to hand exchange. Recorded fairly accurate throws with developing arm strength up to 59 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a simple, compact delivery with fluid movements into balance and down the slope. Incorporates drop-and-drive lower mechanics, ran his fastball up to 60 mph in this look from a three-quarters arm slot. Will continue to improve with additional velocity and added pitches to his repertoire. Right-handed hitter that hit from a shoulder width, even base with a high hand set, low back elbow and short stride into launch. Slightly elongated stroke with developing bat-to-ball skills, best impact to the pullside and will continue to improve with additional strength and maturity. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
