Landon Cattani is a 2027 1B/RHP/IF/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Amelia, OH who attends Kingsmen Baseball Academy. Lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.22 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good footwork around the bag with athletic movements and body control, picks the ball and has soft hands, throws well from different arm slots. Also worked out in the infield and outfield but is more polished and natural at first base. Left handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a high hand load and some barrel wrap, short leg raise trigger, lots of pre-pitch movement to time up, has some bat speed and swings with intent to pull and lift the ball, barrel tends to get in and out of the zone quickly, has potential with adjustments. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with good direction down the mound. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with command to both sides of the plate, also threw a curveball with some 11/5 depth, had a quick and effective inning. Good student.
