Dylan Lahr is a 2025 C/1B/3B with a 5-10 200 lb. frame from Massillon, OH who attends Jackson. Strong and sturdy frame with athleticism present. Primary catcher with a one-knee stance, stays low to the ground and gains plenty of ground towards second base with the footwork. Has a hitch in the throwing motion that can be cleaned up to quicken his release. Has an explosive lower half with definite strength present. Secondary first baseman, tends to field the ball deep to the body and has some arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, utilizes a no-stride timing mechanism. Has hand speed and bat speed, strength certainly shows at the plate. Can get disconnected with the lower half at times, will unlock even more power when he cleans that up in the future. Creates plenty of torque and showed big pop to the pull side. Great student.
