Drew Cross is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, TX who attends Mount Pleasant. Strong, physical build with all kinds of strength to profile. Primary catcher, has real catch-and-throw skills. Fluid and gains ground, quick transfer and popped a 1.85 with a low-80s arm to the bag. Arm strength showed in infield drills, corner type profile with a big arm across diamond. Big carry to throws and can pick it on the backhand. Also pitched, some good life to his fastball from a high three-quarter slot. Good arm strength with a sharp slider and good treats to his fading changeup that has shape and depth. Right-handed hitter, powerful swing with lift out front. Good rhythm in the box and hand strength stands out. Gets into both halves and explodes off barrel. Named to Top Prospect list.
