Carson Everhart is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Lexington, NC who attends Oak Grove. Medium frame with lean athleticism and good twitch to his action with a lot of time to keep adding muscularity. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.28 seconds. Primary position OF, using quick feet and choppy steps to get on time for the play. Presents the glove nicely out front and uses deliberate transfer as he square to throw. Cut the ball loose up to 83 mph and accurate on feeds back to the infield. Reps on the IF too with very aggressive angles and playing fast. Glove works and the arm plays here with plenty of carry. Secondary RHP, working with a full windup and small side step, lifting leg to belly before breaking hands at the letters to build arm speed. Quick hand working through a high 3/4 arm angle and gets plenty of energy out of his lower half. Pitches with confidence and aggression. Lands three pitches for strikes. FB up to 83 mph with above average spin traits and it played well up in the zone. Tight SL in the low-70s and good spin was best off speed. CH is solid offering in the mid-70 and arm side run. Generated plenty of swing and miss, can do it on the mound. RHH working from a wide stance, using short stride and a longer swing but building a lot of bat head speed. Good handset allowing him to work inside the ball and feel for the bat head is excellent. Bat really played in game action collecting multiple hits each game and using a gap to gap approach. Really two-way talent here who is an elite student as well.
