Nicolas Cigliuti is a 2028 C/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from La Crescenta, CA who attends Crescenta Valley. Features a tall, lanky build with room to add. Ran an 8.97 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield and at catcher. Showcased long strides in the outfield while presenting glove early. Will lose body control at times. Reached 67 mph during workouts. Uses a square setup behind the plate. Shows a high effort release with developing actions throughout the transfer. Throws from a shorter arm action. Recorded a 2.13 pop time. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with a high hand setup. Showed sound lower half mechanics with strength at contact. Can stay connected and get extended out front well. Barrel accuracy will develop further as timing is refined. Right-handed pitcher. Throws exclusively out of the stretch. Uses drop and drive mechanics with a longer arm action. Fastball got up to 66 mph. Paired it with a developing, low-60’s curveball. Continuing to refine mechanics and add arm strength will allow pitch mix to be more competitive.
