Luke Manders is a 2025 C/ with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Onsted, MI who attends Onsted Community. Primary catcher with a physical build behind the dish. Starts out from the crouch low with open feet. Works through the plate well and has a quick arm. Transfer was smooth and quick as he pops up out of the crouch quickly. Gets the ball out quick and can make throws with plenty of strength and accuracy behind them. Was 77 from behind the plate with a 2.02 pop time. Also ran a 7.45 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a wider base. Loose hands with quickness in the hands. Can turn hard with plenty of bat speed. Showed that he can launch as well using a toe-tap trigger for timing and rhythm. Hit well in live game action finding a few barrels including one to deep pull. Also showed that he could catch and handle arms during game action. Good student.
