2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Will Watson is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Summerville, SC who attends Pinewood Prep. Taller, lean frame with excellent projection, wiry strength and plenty of room to add more mass. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 6.92 seconds. Primary position outfielder, with active feet getting to the ball with good angles and game like speed. Momentum carried through the play with one hand gather out front to clean midline transfer. Longer arm action inline with the body, ripping the ball downhill with lower release. Feeds up to 89 mph with nice accurate throws back to the bags. Real arm talent here. RHH working from a wider base, slightly closed and an overall balanced stance using no stride pre-pitch. Lower handset, loading into backside to release short swing directly to the ball. Real barrel control is evident with strength at impact. Can really launch the ball to the pull side, leaving the yard a couple times when out front. Just a really solid round of BP here, on the barrel the whole time. Elite performer in the class room as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
