Evan Canode is a 2028 SS/2B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Bentonville, AR who attends . Tall, athletic build with room to continue adding strength. Ran a 7.54 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, high hands in the stance with narrow base, knee lift trigger stride, full barrel path, has looseness to the wrists. Has ability to turn the barrel over, impacted the ball to the middle consistently. Lived on the barrel with more power to project on in the near future. Primary shortstop, athletic actions with good footwork getting to the spot, quick funnel out front, clean transfer with obvious confidence in the glove. Has a good arm across the diamond with carry to the bag, recorded throws up to 79 mph. Excellent student. Named to 2023 14u Main Event Top Prospect List.
