Ivan Carballo is a 2029 2B/RHP/UT with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Riverview, FL who attends Lennard. Recorded a 7.01 60-yard dash. Primary infielder with a lean and athletic frame. Showed advanced actions in the infield with range. Works into a clean funnel and transfer, throwing across the diamond with good arm strength. Showed quick feet in the outfield with a compact arm action, showing the same advanced arm strength and recording throws up to 87 mph in workouts. Also worked out at catcher and displayed good direction throwing down to second. Gains ground well and uses a clean transfer, keeping throws on a low flight with zip. Right-handed hitter and starts from a medium base with even feet. Showcased fast hands and employed a pull side approach during the round. Good bat speed through the zone and flashed carry to left field. Swings the bat with a lot of intent and power plays in game. Secondary both-handed pitcher and topped out at 76 mph from the right side. Releases from a high-3/4 slot and landed the curveball for swing-and-miss. Changed speed and showed deception, turning around to pitch from the left side as well.
