Brock Metz is a 2028 RHP/IF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Mechanicsburg, PA who attends Mechanicsburg Area. Lean and long broad shouldered build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Works from a full wind up, medium arm path that hides the ball well, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with more velocity coming as he gets stronger, fastball comes out of his hand cleanly. Curveball had tight spin and some 12/6 tightness with developing feel for landing it for strikes. Also flashed a change up. Secondary infielder on defense, works behind the back hand well, controlled action laterally, stays balanced well, made accurate throws across, third base action on defense. Right handed hitter, sets up in a tall stance with a simple stride into contact, limited lower half weight shift into her swing, mid-field to pull side contact. Good student.
