Ryan Jaeger is a 2030 1B/RHP/3B/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Monmouth Beach, NJ. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.96 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, sound footwork coming off of the bag, square to the ball when receiving with clean glove work, quick exchange with nice arm strength and carry across the diamond. Plays under control from both the infield and outfield. Quickness to arm from the outfield, fields the ball out to side; works behind the ball well in the infield, smooth exchange, will continue to refine a consistent release point. Also pitched, full windup with rhythm on the bump, leg lift up to belt. Works to a three-quarters release point, accelerates through the back with intent, topped out at 81 mph on the mound with late life through the zone, flashed a tight slider with some bite to it up to 71 mph. Left-handed hitter, begins with a medium base and a lower back elbow in the box, utilizes a toe tap trigger and utilizes a line drive approach. Shows a feel to get the barrel out front on time, shows some jump off of the barrel when squared with plenty of line drive carry to the middle of the field.
