Treyton Schumacher is a 2025 OF/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Beaver Dam, WI who attends Culver Academics. A taller frame with a higher-set waist. Bigger build. Primary outfielder who had fundamental footwork on his approach working to the baseball. He gets to the ball and works through it with narrow strides. He fields the ball out in front and has an extended slot on release. Threw 70 mph from the outfield. A left-handed hitter who has a more crouched stance with a slightly closed front side. The hands are tighter to the chest, and he has a higher back elbow in his stance. Uses a smaller leg lift trigger to get on time and has an inside hand path. Showed some bat speed and strength during his round of BP swings. Consistent round overall. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added 3 hits in-game as well. Took to the mound as a left-handed pitcher with deliberate and controlled actions working through his delivery. He hides the ball well through the back and showed a shorter and compact release on his pitches. Tall and fall delivery with a leg lift to the belt before moving direct downhill. Showed a fastball only during his quick inning of work. The pitch was up to 72 mph and had good arm-side run to it. Struck out 1 opposing hitter over a quick 13-pitch inning. Great student.
