Hagen Moss is a 2027 3B/RHP, C with a 5-11 230 lb. frame from Saint Joseph, MO who attends Central. He has good frame with a thick, sturdy build and present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.43 seconds. Primary third baseman that works hard to get into good fielding position and showed a solid feel for the glove. He works through the ball with his lower half well and showed the ability to make all the plays. He throws with a short arm action and was accurate across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from the middle of the rubber. He uses a knee to belt leg kick and utilizes drop and drive back leg mechanics. He does a nice job of working in line with the plate and utilizes a shorter stride down the mound. He uses a short arm action and fires from a 3/4 arm slot with nice looseness in his shoulder that allows him to create whip in his motion. He primarily leaned on his fastball that he worked away from hitters and showed a curveball with 12-6 shape and diving action. Also worked out behind the plate, starting with an event set and utilizing a quick step forward towards second base on his throws. He showed a short release and made accurate throws. Right-handed hitter that starts in an open stance with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a toe tap trigger for timing and stays direct to the baseball. He has strong hands and is able to leverage the ball to the pull side when he makes contact out in front of the plate.
