Seika Saito is a 2027 SS/RHP, C with a 5-4 125 lb. frame from Issaquah, WA who attends Issaquah. Features a smaller/lean frame with flashes of athleticism throughout his workout/gameplay. Ran a 7.58 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed quality actions. Works low to the ground and through the ball. Avg. glove-to-hand quickness with a shorter arm action that got off accurate throws with flashes of some above avg. arm strength for his level up to 76 mph across. At the plate, he sits in a wider/athletic stance. Slight rock into his backside with a smaller leg lift trigger. Lands balanced as he gets the barrel to a solid launch. Hands throw the bat on a flatter path through with flashes of some quality puillside impact. Uses his lower half well. Barrels translated in-game where he spread hard contact to all fields. On the mound, he threw two quick shutout innings showing an athletic operation. Some drop/drive tendencies. Arm works shorter in the back and clean to a high ¾ slot. Pounded strikes with the fastball up to 78 that got some sneaky late whiffs. His changeup that topped at 70 showed upside exhibiting both fade and depth. Also mixed in a breaking ball in the mid 60s that he gave away at times and flashed sharpness. Named to Top Prospects List.
