2024 Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier
Alan Colon is a 2028 SS/2B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Gurabo Pr, PR who attends Caguas Private School. Smaller young build with lots of growing ahead of him. 6.85 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, works low to the ground and moves comfortably from side to side, nice footwork for his age, fields the ball cleanly and confidently, good arm strength for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a high hand load, has a tight turn and gets the barrel into the zone quickly, compact swing that has some lift and extension, showed the ability to work both halves of the field. Nice young athlete who projects in all areas. Named to the Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier Top Prospect List.
