Stephen Kemmerer is a 2023 C/ with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Providence Christian Academy. Ran a 7.97 second sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with strength to his build. Receives from a side saddle setup with ability to stay low and receive pitches with smooth actions, leading to quick transfer from over-top slot. Stays online as he gains ground well with clean footwork. Throws took accurate trajectory to the bag at 70-mph from a 2.19 second pop-time. Right-handed hitter who uses an open stance and high handed setup in the box. Small step starts swing with ability to stay on pitches on inner half driving contact to the pull side with loud result. Ability to remain patient in the box and hit ball where it enters the zone, catching outside pitches deep and driving them to the opposite field. Excellent student.
