Tyler Older is a 2025 MIF/RHP/UT with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from White Plains, NY who attends White Plains Senior. Older works from a medium broad build with strength present throughout. Primary IF, does a nice job of getting the glove down early and attempts to field out in front. Consistently released from a lower 3/4 slot across the diamond up to 75 mph. Showcased refining footwork with room to loosen up a bit and increase the lateral range. Projects as a corner IF. Offensively, the switch hitter started from the right side displaying a wider even base with a high hand set present. Constantly produced contact to the pull side/middle of the field with good hip torque and weight shift displayed. From the left side, kept the wider base to start with further room to control the barrel and work all parts of the field. Got the barrel extended nicely, posting an exit velo of 83 mph. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
