2023 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jake Petro is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Holmdel, NJ who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Compact, stronger looking frame with room to physically mature. Recorded a 4.78 second forty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set and some arm strength. Worked through the baseball cleanly, gathers smoothly and maintains some momentum into release. Produced arm strength up to 84 mph during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from an upright, even base with a flatter hand start and leg lift trigger for timing. Compact, line drive stroke with good feel for the barrel and strength in his hands. Whole field approach with consistent, simple movements and some gap-to-gap power. Will continue to improve with minor refinements to his swing and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
