Clay Bussey is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 6-0 191 lb. athletic frame from Sunnyvale, CA who attends Homestead HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.18 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher, secondary infielder. On the mound, he works quick and efficiently with the balling jumping out of the hands. The the high 3/4 slot proved to be deceptive throughout the outing, forcing weak contact often and displaying quality pitches in the zone. Showed quality defensive actions in the infield with intent to charge through the baseball. The arm action is longer and fluid but the throws proved to be strong and accurate across the diamond. At the dish, he sets up slightly open with explosiveness in the lower half to generate loud barrels in the pull side gap. There's present bat speed and intention in the swing. Selected to the Top Prospect list.
