Andrew Veatch is a 2028 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends North Central. Veatch works from a long limbed projectable build with plenty of room to fill out and add strength as a '28 prospect. As a primary C, showcased refining transfers with intent to gain some ground and carry momentum down to 2B. Can shorten up the actions a bit and focus on repeating an in-line arm path. Posted a 2.29 pop time with projectable arm strength for the future. From the IF, displayed controlled actions with developing lateral range, ultimately topping out at 70 mph across the diamond. Projects as 3B. On the mound, again topped out at 70 mph with present command of zone. Released from a 3/4 slot with further room to work into the lower half and drive down the slope. CB had slurvy action with spin upwards of 1700 rpm. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from a slightly open base with a smaller leg lift trigger into impact. Flashed young bat speed through the zone with present barrel control to produce consistent impact back up the middle. Ran a 8.24 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
