Owen Maslowski is a 2024 C/MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Afton, MN who attends Stillwater. Recorded a 7.42 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame and young build with room to fill. Primary catcher with a side straddle set up and a quick transfer and release. Short arm action with an added hand hitch prior to release, recorded a 2.07 second pop time at 67 mph. Has some quickness out of the chute, tends to stand up to throw. Developing arm strength at present, will improve as he stays low throughout the process. Right-handed hitter with an open stance and a high hand and back elbow set. Utilizes a small lift and replace trigger, fluid bat path with a good looking swing overall. Has good bat to ball skills and produced consistent barrels during his round, impact potential will improve as he grows and gets stronger. Young prospect with a good chance to improve moving forward. Good student.
