2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Cooper Rogers is a 2026 3B/2B/OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Chapmansboro, TN who attends Davidson Academy. Sturdy build with a medium frame and tremendous present strength and life to his actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 7.06 seconds. Primary position infielder with a corner emphasis, solid footwork with good first step quickness. Hands work well, with firmer action making plays and showing clean deeper transfer. Strong arm with carry across the infield up to 85 mph. Handled the slow roller with good agility. Reps in the outfield as well, working through the ball and continuing momentum through the play. Gets on top of throws here and made clean one-hoppers at 85 mph here as well. RHH working from an even and balanced stance with a deeper hand load pre-pitch and a bit of length in the front arm before working to impact. Hands really create bat head speed and swings with intent to do damage. Controls the barrel nicely through the middle of the field and shows some natural loft. Power oriented athlete. Elite performer in the classroom as well.
