Landon Englebrecht is a 2026 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Red Mountain. Features a high waisted frame with some strength present. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Charged the ball hard throughout workouts. Showcased the ability to maintain momentum through the catch point. Helps cleanly transfer into short arm action throws. Produces a fair amount of carry, throwing 71 mph. Also worked out at first base. Arm strength transferred across the diamond. Quality hands showed the ability to make the routine play. Still developing lateral footwork. Athleticism plays for the position. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance with the bat slightly angled toward the catcher to start. Moderate sized leg kick transfers the weight onto the backside well. Approach allows for the entire field to be used. Has some rotational power present. Still refining barrel accuracy. Has power bat potential with further development. Also threw as lefthanded pitcher. Utilizes a long arm action out of a low 3/4 slot. Repeats low effort operation well. Maintains directions down the mound and toward the target. The lefthander threw the fastball exclusively. The offering sat 67-70 mph with the ability to move it up and down well. It showed the ability to get whiffs at the top of the zone. Incorporating the lower half more would help generate more velocity. The arm strength makes the lefthander an intriguing arm who has time to continue to develop on the bump. Named to the 13u/14u Spring Southwest Showcase.
