Hayden Smith is a 2024 C/RHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Mountain Vista. He ran a 7.39 second sixty. A primary catcher with a young athletic build. Behind the plate he receives the ball with eh glove well out front before gaining ground into his throw with a longer arm action showing developing arm strength with a 2.34 second pop time. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base showing twitchy hands has he gets into the loaded position, he hit the ball back up the middle at his best din the big part of the yard with developing bat speed as the barrel comes through the zone level with a line drive approach.
