Riley Niggemeyer is a 2023 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from South Vienna, OH who attends Kenton Ridge. He ran a 7.30 second sixty. Primary left-handed pitcher with a long lean build showing plenty of room left to project on in the frame. On the mound the leg lift goes above the belt before staying tall on the back side and falling into a stiff front side as he comes down the mound. The fastball shows some arm side run at 75-79 mph getting some extension out front on the release. The breaking ball has some projectable traits to it with sold spina nd average depth through the hitting zone. He showed feel for the actions in the outfield working to the ball under control and carrying his momentum into the throws getting rid fo the ball on time with a compact arm stroke showing. developing arm strength. Left-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open stance getting back to even with an inconsistent trigger, the bat path works uphill through the hitting zone with developing bat speed impacting the ball best to the middle of the field with more power to come as eh continues to add strength to the frame. Good student.
