Javier Nieto is a 2027 MIF/RHP with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Blanchard, OK who attends Chickasha. He has a medium frame with a thinner build with tons of physical development ahead of him yet. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.39 seconds. Primary middle infielder that showed clean footwork and the ability to efficiently moved to both sides of his body. He gets into a good fielding position and pairs soft hands with a good feel for the glove. He is able to transfer the ball cleanly and throws with a quick release. Made consistently accurate throws throughout his round. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from the first base side of the rubber and uses a knee to above the belt leg kick. He works in line with the plate with a shorter stride down the mound that allows him to finish out over his front foot. Throws with a medium arm action and fires from a 3/4 slot. He primarily worked the outer half of the strike zone with his fastball and mixed in a 12-6 curveball with shorter break. Right-handed hitter that starts in a narrow base that is slightly open with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a leg lift trigger for timing and strides into the ball, utilizing his lower half well. He gets on plane early with the barrel and stays through the ball, allowing him to hit pitches in any location and uses the whole field well. His swing is fluid and easily repeatable. He has the hand strength to leverage the ball into both gaps.
