Jayden Salgado is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Hayward, CA who attends James Logan. An average medium size build. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder waits back on the ball a bit, fields the bell out front well, still developing footwork to carry momentum through to make throws. Shows a lower arm slot with short arm action on throws that have limited carry and solid accuracy. Hits from an even base and square stance with low hands. Swings uphill some with loft in his swing. Developing bat speed with enough use of the lower half and barrel control to drive the baseball some. Can impact the baseball to his pull-side with carry when he catches it out front.
