Carsen Dekeyrel is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 145 lb. frame from Andalusia, IL who attends Rockridge. He has a tall frame with a lean, athletic build and plenty of room to add strength. Ran the 40-Yard Dash in 5.37 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher that uses a side step too tart his delivery and features a knee to chest leg kick. He does a nice job of pushing down the mound with his back leg and lands in line with the plate. He uses a long arm action and fires from a 3/4 slot. His shoulder is loose and he has nice extension on his release. His two-seam fastball has plenty of running action through the zone, making it a tough pitch for opposing hitters to barrel up. His curveball showed 11/7 shape with solid depth and break. He also features a changeup with slight fade to keep hitters off balance. Secondary outfielder that has clean actions when working towards the ball. He fields it out in front of his body and transfers it efficiently before making good throws to the bases. Left-handed hitter that starts with a medium base and a high back elbow. He has a rotational swing and showed quick hands through the zone. He has an all fields approach and looks to create backspin on his line drives with his slightly downhill barrel path.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
