Chase Gandert is a 2027 3B/RHP/SS with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Mason, OH who attends Mason. Medium size frame. Ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Primary infielder with developing footwork, ability to make the routine plays, developing feel for lateral angles, clean pick on the backhand and showed a solid average throwing arm with accuracy across. Hit from an upright stance, rotational swings with developing feel to get on time, showed present strength and made contact to all fields. Showed fastball and change up on the mound out of a low arm slot. Average arm speed locating the fastball that topped at 77. Maintained the arm speed on the change up well, works low in the zone and induces plenty of ground balls. Very good student.
