Matthew Morris Jr is a 2027 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Port St John, FL who attends Space Coast. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of physical projection ahead. Works from a side step/high leg raise delivery, gets his hips turned over the rubber and rotates out coming down the mound well, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the mid-70's and topped out at 77 mph. Curveball was a good second pitch for him, got on top of it well and created good depth at times. 8.16 runner in the sixty. worked out both in the outfield and the infield with third base being his best secondary position, best tool is his arm strength and accuracy, tends to bend at the waist and get his glove down late. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a toe tap trigger, inside swing path with mid field contact.
