Tommy Morey is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Potomac, MD who attends Winston Churchill. Recorded an 8.05 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher moves from the stretch only with a high handset, a controlled high leg lift, and falls to the plate while slightly flying open upon release. Morey’s fastball shows cutting action across the plate at 72 mph and he also mixes in a change of pace breaking ball with some depth as he is developing the release point for it. Secondary third baseman has good foot action as he fields the ball with a late funnel and good transfer into a long arm action accurately throwing 68 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with an upright stance, high hands, and a high back elbow with a simple stride to the ball. He shows a line drive contact with some barrel control working the ball middle to opposite field approach alongside developing backspin on the ball.
