Eli Martin is a 2027 OF/C with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Zimmerman, MN who attends Zimmerman. Recorded a 7.18 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium frame with long levers. Primary outfielder fields off the front foot and charges it well. Good intent to the actions and a clue for the approach. Longer release through the back with some whip through it with strength to reach in the air. Developing all-around athlete with upside to have the arm for all three outfield spots. Recorded throws up to 88 during outfield drills. Secondary catcher works from a side straddle set-up. Works through the ball pre-pitch with a shorter transfer with good accuracy to the tag zone. Right-handed hitter starts from a wide base and an even stance with high hands and a low back elbow, utilizes a toe tap trigger. Downhill bat path and extends through the ball with developing strength. All fields approach with some solid line drives and showed the ability to create some impact. Developing ability to get lift on the ball. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Good student. Named to the 2024 Minnesota Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
