Cameron Delahoussaye is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-2 203 lb. frame from Naperville, IL who attends Waubonsie Valley. Large, strong build with plenty of projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher, operates from the first base-side of the rubber with a chest-high leg lift. Works inline with the plate, landing with a closed front foot. Utilizes drop and drive mechanics before releasing from a three-quarters slot. Has plenty of quickness and looseness in the shoulder. Fastball had some heaviness to it, ultimately peaking at 87 mph. Mixed in a 12-6 curveball with bite and a fading changeup to keep hitters mistimed. Secondary first baseman, showed the glove on-time and funneled the baseball with soft hands. Made quick and efficient turns while showcasing the ability to adjust arm slots. Recorded arm strength up to 90 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wide base with a high back elbow and high hand set-up. Utilizes a lift and replace trigger for timing before working into a slightly downhill bat path. Impacted the baseball with good strength when timed up. Can get a bit rotational at times. Has plenty of quickness in the hands. Projects for more power with additional strength and mechanical refinement. Posted an exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 7.35 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 Midwest High School All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
