Riley Wagner is a 2027 C/OF with a 5-2 107 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Sarasota. Recorded a 8.27 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with fundamentally sound actions and throws up to 61 mph. Stays low in setup and receives well, working through the ball, building momentum with over top, short release on throws for a 2.5 pop time. Solid feel for the position with developing strength in frame. Secondary outfielder, with developing actions yet catch and throw skills present with accurate throws to bases at 65 mph from an uphill release and 3/4 slot. Right-handed hitter, with narrow, closed stance to start. Simple approach at the plate, with level to high swing path that leads to a lot of barreled contact. Hand-eye coordination evident as he keeps the bat head through the hitting zone with ability to adjust and hit pitches on all parts of the plate. Middle, opposite way approach with current strength and swing plane trajectory to play to all fields with continued development through maturity.
