2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (28-29 Grads)
Christian Sparks is a 2029 C/RHP/IF with a 5-5 135 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Langham Creek. Smaller young build with some strength for his size. 7.62 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low and flexible behind the plate, has soft hands, made accurate throws and repeated his mechanics well, catch and throw actions stood out in the games, just needs to continue to grow and get stronger to keep improving defensively. Also worked out in the outfield but is much better suited for behind the plate. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a toe tap timer, well timed swing that he repeats well, mid field to pull side contact with some extension out front, bit of uphill plane, solid fundamental swing base as he grows stronger.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
