Ryan Dobratz is a 2027 SS/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Lake Saint Louis, MO who attends Liberty Sr. Longer frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.95 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front with two hands and a wide base, takes shorter steps moving towards the ball, ball comes out cleanly on throws across the diamond, young actions, longer strides on the charge play. Graded best at first base in defensive drills, fields out front, full arm action on throws and shows carry across, works over front side, glove plays and moves well around the bag. Also pitched, side step moving into delivery with a leg lift up to waist, online arm stroke through back with a high front side lever coming down the mound. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, will continue to refine a consistent release point; mixed a curveball which he could land arm side up to 59 mph and flashed a changeup at 63 mph with slight depth. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; looks to incorporate strength into swing. Generates lift to swing path out front at point of contact, occasionally get around the baseball, full swing path through the zone and shows some cary when on time, swings with intent and gets the barrel through the zone, gets uphill at times with swing path.
