Catcher | Drew Rogers, Hamilton (AZ)
Hit .458 with 11 bombs and 14 doubles, leading to an OPS over 1.500 while driving in 42 on the year for one of the more consistently strong high school programs in the state/country.

First Base | Ryan Costello, Ranney (NJ)
Had his spring cut short due to a hand injury, but still was exceptional and on pace to set multiple state records; hit .500 and slugged 14 home runs, finishing at a ridiculous 1.855 OPS.

Second Base | Luke Dickerson, Morris Knolls (NJ)
Helped his program to a state title with a ridiculous year on the offensive end, slugging a state record 18 home runs while hitting .467, scoring 64 times, driving in 45 and stealing 27 bags.

Shortstop | Tyson Lewis, Millard West (NE)
Helped Millard West to the Class A state title, as well as a spot in the National High School Top 50, hitting .496 with close to 30 extra-base hits (8 home runs), 53 runs and 41 RBIs.

Third Base | Brodie Johnston, Boyd-Buchanan (TN)
Put up some pretty ridiculous offensive numbers across the board against what was a solid overall schedule; finished the year at .523 with 8 home runs and 29 total extra-base hits (1.582 OPS), to go with 34 walks, 46 RBIs, outstanding 64 runs scored and 30 stolen bags.

Outfield | Konnor Griffin, Jackson Prep (MS)
Tabbed as our National Player of the Year for 2024, Griffin put up video-game numbers in his final high school season in leading Jackson Prep to yet another state title. He hit .559 with an OBP of .690, combining 66 hits and 47 walks to score 76 times and also stole an absurd 87 bags, destroying records in that category specifically. He also slugged 9 home runs and may be the first high schooler off the board when we get to the draft next month.

Outfield | Slade Caldwell, Valley View (AR)
One of the most exciting players in this year’s class, Caldwell led his team to the Arkansas Class 5A state title and a finish at #12 in this year’s final National High School Top 50. He hit .485 and came across to score 58 times, while also swiping an impressive 51 bags to set the state record for career stolen bases with 170 in total across his 4 years at Valley View.

Outfield | PJ Morlando, Summerville (SC)
The Class of 2024’s top-ranked player, Morlando closed the year well and led Summerville to a runner-up finished in the state’s top classification. He hit .403 and reached base at a .600 clip thanks to 36 walks (many intentional), while also striking out only 7 times in his 32 games.

Utility | Bryce Rainer, Harvard-Westlake (CA)
Rainer did a little bit of everything well and solidified himself as a high first round talent with the year he had. He hit .505 and got on base at over a .600 clip, slugging 4 home runs on the year while headlining Harvard-Westlake’s offense, a Top 10 team in the country in 2024. He also struck out 35 in limited innings on the mound, while really limiting both hits and walks. 

Designated Hitter | Cade Brown, Parkview (GA)
Brown has been great in a Parkview uniform over the last 2 years, taking home Underclass Player of the Year last year as a junior, and impressed again in hitting .472 with 15 homers, 50 RBIs, 53 runs scored and an OPS up over 1.600 in Georgia’s toughest classification, 7A.

Two-Way | Braden Booth, Bob Jones (AL)
Booth won just about every award there was to win within the state of Alabama after he led Bob Jones to the 7A state title, and it was on both sides of the ball that he did it. He hit .429 with 10 bombs and 17 doubles, while driving in almost 50 and scoring 57 times himself. On the mound, he went 13-1 and struck out 127 across 83 innings, posting a strong 1.51 ERA.

Pitcher | William Schmidt, Catholic (LA)
Schmidt won our National Pitcher of the Year honors for 2024, and for good reason, as the potential first rounder was dominant in leading Catholic to a state championship and National Runner-Up finish. He was 9-0 with a 0.44 ERA, striking out 102 in 63 innings and allowing just 17 walks and 19 hits, all impressive totals getting the ball in huge matchups.

Pitcher | Kash Mayfield, Elk City (OK)
Mayfield didn’t log quite the same number of innings as some of the others on this list, but he was flat out dominant in the ones he threw. He went 8-0 on the year, posting a miniscule 0.16 ERA across 44 innings, striking out 115 against a simply ridiculous 4 hits and 8 walks.

Pitcher | Cam Caminiti, Saguaro (AZ)
Caminiti was named the National Two-Way Player of the Year for 2024 thanks to his play on both sides of the ball, but it was on the mound where he’s set to be selected in the first- round next month. He also went 9-0, striking out 119 in just 52 innings against 14 walks and 19 hits. He hit close to .500 as well with an OPS over 1.500, leading Saguaro to a state title.

Pitcher | Dax Whitney, Blackfoot (ID)
Whitney didn’t pitch in a talent-rich state like some of the others, but his numbers showed the level of dominance his stuff brings. He finished 10-0 with a 0.27 ERA, striking out 130 hitters in just 52 innings and allowing just 10 hits and 11 walks, both some of the best in the group.

Pitcher | Kruz Schoolcraft, Sunset (OR)
Schoolcraft was named the National Underclass Pitcher of the Year for 2024, and certainly could find himself winning the overall award this time next year. He finished 10-1 with just a 0.39 ERA, totaling 71 innings of work and striking out 146 while walking just 19 batters total.
