Starting the 8 a.m. slot for the Texas Senators 15U Scout Team, Cooper Rummel (2025, Austin, Texas) was very impressive. Standing at a strong and physical 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, the right-hander operated in the 86-89 range with his fastball and ran it up to 90 in the first frame. He held the velocity for the entire game for the entirety of his six inning, 88 pitch outing. Rummel mixed in a big 12-6 curveball with sharp and big depth. He buried the pitch for whiffs, and it proved to be a true out-pitch. The velocity came easy, as he worked from a simple and effortless delivery, generating serious arm speed. He would finish throwing six scoreless, three-hit innings, punching out six. Rummel is what a power arm look like at this age and possesses a combination of present stuff as well as great projection.
