2024 National Showcase (07/01/2024 - 07/05/2024)

Royal 11 vs White 12
7/5/2024 4:44:19 AM

Brock Sell (2025 Stockton, CA) had a couple barrels in game. One he turned on a pitch and drove a liner hit to the pullside that came off the bat at 99 mph. He can really run and cover ground in centerfield too.

Brett Crossland (2025 Phoenix, AZ) mixed his off speed pitches very well, locating his slider to the glove side to get whiffs. The off speed offerings played off the mid-90s fastball extremely well and he even reached back for a 97 early on.

Jordan Martin (2025 Jefferson City, MO) is a very good athlete and coordinates his delivery well for such a long frame. His slider has late bite and peaked in the low-80s. There is a ton of projection in this operation.

Mason Greenhouse (2025 Riverside, CA) sat on a breaking pitch and drove it down the opposite field line for an eventual inside the park homer. He has excellent bat speed and can really run. He displayed highest level tools.

Cooper Clouser (2025 Phoenix, AZ) did a very good job receiving and blocking behind the plate. He also showed good potential with the stick as he pummeled a hit to the pull side coming off the bat at 100 mph.

Aiden Aguayo (2025 Whittier, CA) has good versatility on the dirt with range and transfers skills. He also has good bat to ball skills and smoked a single to the pull side.

Vaughn Coleman (2025 Claremont, CA) made one of the better plays of the game, covering a lot of ground in leftfield to take away and extra base it. He later barreled a liner single the other way, then he got the barrel of for his second barrel at 97. He checks a lot of boxes.

Angel Cervantes (2025 Lynwood, CA) was in complete command during his start. He ran the heater up to 93 and moved it around the plate. He also showed tight spin that reached 80 and got some empty swings with a changeup that is a go-to offering right now.

Reagan Ricken. (2025 Temecula, CA) has real arm speed and the ball jumps out of his hand. There is late life on the pitch and it peaks in the mid-90s. He has feel for three pitches and a clear starters profile given his stuff and athleticism.

Grayson Boles (2025 San Diego, CA) has a very quick arm and attacked the zone with a lively low-90s fastball and a hammer breaking ball. He keeps his arm speed up on the breaker and it racked up a ton of whiffs.

Robert Mahoney (2025 Riverside, CA) had a couple quick innings, working fast and pounding the zone. He mixes well and worked up to 94-mph with the fastball. He has a clean delivery that he repeats well.

Chase Bentley (2025 Granite Bay, CA) attacked with two solid offerings, working mostly to the outer half. He has a workhorse frame and good upside to his already low-90s fastball.
