Lenin Nuñez (2024 SS, Miami, FL) showed a bunch of things to like out of both the right-handed and left-handed swings. He has good bat speed from both and showed the ability to impact the ball to both gaps. It's a simple setup with repeatable mechanics and the ability to manipulate the barrel.
Ethan Manuel Cabrera (2025 OF, Hialeah, FL) was on the barrel throughout the round of batting practice. There's some serious barrel whip and bat speed here as he showed natural feel for the barrel. He sprayed liners into both gaps routinely.
Aaron Orozco (2025 C, West Palm Beach, FL) is a big and physical right-handed bat that showed a bunch of intriguing things in the round of batting practice. He has easy juice to both gaps and showcased the ability to pull the baseball with authority and natural loft.
Aaron Groeneveld (2024 SS, Pembroke Pines, FL) was another player that lived on the barrel throughout the round of batting practice. It's a contact oriented approach with good bat speed and will continue growing into power. He sprayed the ball all over the yard, showing great feel for it.
Josh Barnes (2025 C, Leesburg, GA) caught a bunch of barrels in the round of batting practice. The strength really stood out as the ball exploded off the barrel, hammering multiple balls into the pull-side gap.
Abraham Contreras (2024 OF, Blainville, QC) had an extremely loud round early on in day one. He's a big and physical right-handed hitter that showcased some big power to the pull-side. Even when overextended a little bit, he was still hitting balls to the warning track.
Peter Fulton (2025 RHP, Charleston, SC) caught a bunch of barrels in his round. He has a big knee lift trigger, the hands work well and the ball comes off the barrel really easy. He put on a loud performance in the round, including a bomb to LF.
Hogan Nelson (2025 OF, Fort Worth, TX) showcased some loose hands and great bat speed in his round. It's a low tension swing with great movements, the hands stay loose throughout, allowing the barrel to flow. He has good power as well, showing the ability to hammer balls into the pull-side gap.
Tony DiChiara (2024 C, Toms River, NJ) showed flashes of power in the round to go along with some big bat speed. He starts with the hands high and a high back elbow in the stance. He has good rhythm to the operation and turns the barrel over nicely.
Rafael Furcal Jr (2024 3B, Weston, FL) had a loud day throughout but really impressed in the round of batting practice. The bat speed and power really stood out and he showcased the ability to spray the ball all over the diamond.
Jean Carlos Garcia-Chicano (2024 SS, Miami, FL) was another player that strung together a great day and capped it with an impressive round of batting practice. He has good bat speed and budding power, showing the ability to get the barrel extended and impact to the pull-side.
Carlos Rubio (2025 SS, Longwood, FL) showed a bunch of things to like throughout the round. He has a contact oriented approach and hit the ball all over the diamond. He controls it well and found the barrel often.
Emanuel Hernandez (2026 SS, Ponce, PR) was another player that lived on the barrel throughout the round. It's easy to see him continuing to grow into power but he's already showing advanced bat speed for the age and feel for the barrel.
Luis Díaz (2026 C, Santa Isabel, PR) capped off the round of batting practice with a loud showing. He's a big and physical left-handed bat with easy pull-side juice and the ball really explodes off the barrel. He showed that later in the round with a bomb to right field.
