Evan Colsch (2025, North Liberty, Iowa) took a solid round of BP to start things off. He showed off a pull-side approach, getting connected with the ball out in front to do damage. His best swings worked pull-side and he showed the strength to impact throughout the round.
Carson Grier (2026, Williamsburg, Iowa) handled the bat well from the left side of the dish, using some strength in a physical frame. He lifted the ball well during the round and was able to work pull-side into right field with ease during his round of BP swings.
Charlie Sarsfield (2027, Cedar Rapids, Iowa) took some quality swings during BP, showing off a fluid left-handed stroke with quick hands and a quick bat overall. Did most of his damage working pull-side during the round, but worked backside a little bit, staying through it and working the other way.
Cooper Harris (2025, Vernon Hills, Ill.) took a good round of swings from the left side, using the strength in the frame well. He was able to create some leverage, lifting the ball well and working to the pull side. He also worked backside during the round with some line drives, staying on plane and slightly uphill through contact.
Jackson O’Melia (2026, Bettendorf, Iowa) showed off some clean swings at the dish. He has a fluid and athletic stroke at the plate with tons of barrel accuracy, which he showed off during his round of BP swings. O’Melia worked gap-to-gap during his round of swings.
Callen Espinoza (2026, Beloit, Wisc.) swung it well from the right side with a direct path through contact and long levers that he used well throughout the swing. Espinoza showed off some good line-drives working back through the middle of the field during his round of BP swings.
Max Leno (2025, Robins, Iowa) was aggressive during his round of BP swings, showing off some bat speed and quickness in the hands. He used the whole field during his round with some good swings working to the pull-side part of the field.
Owen Marxen (2027, Cedar Rapids, Iowa) took some good swings from the left side, turning hard and creating some whip through the zone. He impacted it well and was able to lift some balls to right field, attacking pull-side during his round of BP swings.
Garet Swartzendruber (2025, Mt. Vernon, Iowa) showed off a unique load with the barrel during his round of BP swings. He loads deep with some bat tilt but takes the hands directly and quickly to the ball. He had bat speed that led to quality impacts and a good round of BP swings. He had some really solid swings working to the pull-side gap part of the field.
