Leyton Coffman (2025 SS, Athens, AL) got a pitch early on and didn't miss it, sending a screamer down the left field line for a double. Solid bat speed and above-average bat-to-ball skills have been on display all day.
Adiel U. Rivera Robles (2025 RHP, Las Piedras, PR) has been good through a pair of innings so far. The fastball is working in the mid-80s with a loose arm and a lot of velocity to project. Going to low-70s curveball often as well.
Cade Middleton (2025 RHP, Silver Creek, GA) has matched Robles early on in this one. Fastball working in the 84-86 range comfortably from a low release point and generates whiffs up in the zone. Going to low-70s breaking ball in any count and has shown ability to land for strikes.
Cason Gantt (2027 1B, Canton, GA) caught a barrel early on in this one, hitting it right down the left field line for a ground rule double. He has fast hands and solid control of the barrel, continues to put on a performance at the plate on day one.
RJ Groomster (2026 OF, Pooler, GA) lived on the barrel in this one, collecting multiple base hits throughout the game. He has a quitet approach with obvious bat speed and feel to turn the barrel over.
Ryan Ward (2025 1B, Peachtree Corners, GA) got a pitch out over the plate and put a great swing on it, driving a double into the gap. He's a big and strong player and the ball comes off the barrel hot.
Caden Fox (2026 1B, Marietta, GA) didn't miss one in the bottom of the 6th inning as he hit one well for a double. He's another big and strong player with good barrel awareness and strength to all fields.
Josh Gibbs (2025 SS, Cumming, GA) showed some two way intrigue yesterday smoking a double down the left field line and also jumping on the mound and running the fastball into the upper-80s.
Davis Morrison (2027 C, Atlanta, GA) inside outed one down the right field line for a double in the late innings. He has a solid swing path and catches it out front often.
