6/5/2024 11:03:25 PM

Game Highlights: Gray v. Green

Wrigley Cox (2026, Fort Collins, Colo.) was solid in his outing on the mound. He worked up to 85 mph on the fastball with good carry to it, spinning above 2,400 RPMs. He also showed a breaking ball with a great feel to spin. The breaker had a good 10-4 shape to it with spin above 2,200 RPMs. Cox also put together a couple of good swings at the dish. He added two more singles today, showing off the fluid right-handed stroke once again.

Kane Mullin (2025, Littleton, Colo.) put together some really quality swings on the day. He walked away with 3 hits, including 2 doubles. He started things off with a backside double, lining one down the left-field foul line. He followed that up with a pull-side double lifting one into RF, impacting well. He also added another line drive single. Mulling got it done with some feel for the barrel and a direct & hands-driven swing. Mullin also got on the mound and threw strikes in his outing on the mound, flipping a breaker as well.

Jack Phiel (2025, Denver, Colo.) got it done at the dish once again today, adding a couple more hits to his credit. Continued to find ways to get it done with a longer, lean, and athletic frame. Good traits and quality bat-to-ball. Inward move to contact with some whip through the zone. Added a double and a hard-hit single in today’s game.

Christian Roy (2025, Ramstein, GER) got it done yesterday at the plate with an XBH and a quality showing during workouts. Continued to get it done with a double working up the middle of the field today. Stayed on time and stayed through it to connect and drive it for the extra-base hit. Another quality swing from the right-hander with good athleticism.

Jude Schechter (2026, Niwot, Colo.) added a couple more hits once again today. Showed a wider base with a direct path and a quieter lower half. He got it done at the dish with a clean stroke and feel to whip the hands through the zone and do damage. Worked on-time and on the barrel to drive the ball through the middle of the field.

Jackson Pfister (2025, Centennial, Colo.) put together another quality performance today, getting it done at the plate. There’s tons of strength in the frame, and he continued to find the barrel. He added a single back through the middle of the field early on and then lifted a ground-rule double deep to left-center field that one-hopped over the fence.

Tyler Young (2025, Redlands, Calif.) continued to find barrels in-game today. Young added a couple more hits today, finding ways to get the barrel on the ball and collect some more base hits. He loads up deep with a hands-driven swing, and some feel to lift the ball. Put together some more quality swings.

Andrew Filimoehala (2024, Kaysville, Utah) put together a great outing on the mound on Day 1 and followed that up, taking one lone AB on Wednesday. He made the most of it, connecting up in the zone and lofting one up, high and deep to left center field. Cleared the fence and added a home run to his credit.
Batting Practice Highlights >>

6/4/2024 11:33:58 PM

Seth Reiman (2026 1B, Rawlins, WY) showed some strength in his round of batting practice with a ball over the wall in center field. He does a nice job behind on time with his load and trigger allowing the barrel to play out front where he can get his arms extended to drive the baseball.

Wrigley Cox (2026 SS, Fort Collins, CO) showed some power upside in his round of batting practice. Starting from a narrower stance he is able to get to a strong base with a solid weight shift into contact allowing him to impact the baseball from gap to gap.

Daniel Melvin (2025 3B, Boulder, CO) starts slightly open doing a nice job of getting back to even where he is able to create leverage at the point of contact. He shows solid upside with more bat speed to come as he continues to grow and mature with his ability to use the big part of the field.

Mika Pando (2025 MIF, Lovington, NM) did a nice job of using the entire field during his round of batting practice with a compact swing that allows him to be on the barrel at a high rate. The bat path stays connected well which in turn keeps him behind the baseball and helps to create backspin on the ball flight.

Tyler Young (2025 SS, Redlands, CA) starts with a wider base getting into his lower half to create leverage at the point of contact. He does a nice job controlling the bat head through the zone to allow him to stay on plane with a lofted bat path and drive the baseball with backspin from the middle to pull side of the field.

Had a hard-hit groundball that plated a run, helping produce some offense for the Gray team in this contest.

Ian Lenius (2025, Middleton, Idaho) shined in his outing on the mound. Shot one into CF and added a base hit to start things off and then added another hit later on for a 2-hit performance.

Wrigley Cox (2026, Fort Collins, Colo.) showed off a really nice swing working pull-side. He found a barrel with whip through the zone and some lift, connecting and lifting deep to LF. It was a really solid swing, finding a way to get through the zone with a shorter and direct path, uphill through it, lifting it beyond the left-center fence for a home run. Added another hit later on for a 2-hit performance.

Luke Williams (2026, Parker, Colo.) added a hit working backside to add to his day. He was able to stay through the ball well on a slightly uphill path, connect, and drive it for a base knock working hte other way. Found a way. Simple leg lift driven swing with some whip through the zone to impact it well.

Keegan Cornelius (2025, USAF Academy, Colo.) added a hard-hit base knock here to get the job done. Picked up a line drive single, working on the barrel and finding a way to shoot one into left field on a line. Simple stroke that yielded a good result from the right-handed hitter.

Andrew Filimoehala (2024, Kaysville, Utah) put together an impressive outing on the mound today in-game. He has a longer and lean frame with good feel for the move down the slope, striding well and extending through the front side.
