Blake Gonzales (2027 3B, Casa Grande, AZ) does a nice job of staying short to the ball and gets on plane with the pitch early. He keeps his hands above the ball at contact and looks to drive the ball into the gaps.
David Britenfeld (2025 C, Grand Rapids, MI) has quick hands through the zone that he pairs with a strong frame allowing him to generate nice power. He looks to elevate the ball by making contact out in front of the plate with an uphill swing path.
Caleb Ricks (2025 OF, Elizabethtown, KY) swings with intent at the plate and has a fluid stroke that he keeps on balance through contact. He made consistent line drives throughout his round and showed nice strength offensively.
Jaxson Cripe (2027 OF, Anderson, IN) stays inside the ball well and looks to drive it where it is pitched. He can get extended and showed power to the pull side. He also lets the ball travel on the outside part of the plate before driving it into the opposite field gap.
Devlan Daniel (2027 OF, Cincinnati, OH) took a loud batting practice today, powering the ball to all parts of the field. The switch hitter keeps it simple at the plate and is on plane early, allowing him to use his strength to leverage the ball to both gaps. He has a fluid swing and is consistently on time with it.
Kristopher Desantiago (2026 C, Gilbert, AZ) is relaxed and confident at the plate. He has a slightly uphill swing that allows him to drive the ball to the pull side when he is on time and out in front of the plate. He has a powerful swing that causes the ball to jump off his bat.
Jace Diaz (2027 SS, Queen Creek, AZ) has a smooth operation from the left side of the plate. His swing is longer through the ball, allowing him to drive it into the gaps. He is consistently on time and showed nice barrel speed through the zone.
Maximus Brunkel (2027 C, Hebron, KY) does a nice job of creating backspin on his line drives, allowing the ball to carry to all parts of the field. He pairs quick hands with a strong lower half that leads to consistently hard contact. He had his best results when he was working to the pull side of the field.
John Kincaid (2026 3B, Alvaton, KY) has a simple approach at the plate, looking to drive the ball hard where it is pitched. He has a balanced swing and showed nice barrel control through the zone with his quick hands.
Colton Temple (2027 1B, McDonald, PA) is a power hitter with present strength and room to add more power yet. He works his lower half through the ball well and drives through the ball with his two-handed finish. He has a pull approach and did damage to all the balls on the inside part of the plate during his round.
Ricky Maschinot (2027 C, Cincinnati, OH) gets on plane with his swing early in the process and does a nice job of working through the baseball. He stays short to the baseball and looks to get the barrel out in front of the plate while working primarily to the pull side of the field.
James Wimsatt (2025 SS, Westerville, OH) stays direct at the plate and is consistently on time and on balance throughout the process. He has a line drive approach and did a nice job of staying on top of the baseball, driving it where it was pitched and using all parts of the field.
Conner Davis (2027 C, Cattlesburg, KY) showed tons of power potential today, creating nice barrel whip through the zone and using his present strength to drive a ball over the left field fence. He creates nice separation with his upper half and is on time, making contact out in front of the plate.
Matthew Hoerst (2025 3B, Harrison, OH) has a fluid swing at the plate and glides into the baseball well with his lower half. He has effortless power and is able to drive the ball to all parts of the park. He does a nice job of leveraging the ball.
Dylan Lahr (2025 C, Massillon, OH) is a strong athlete that creates tons of torque at the plate, leading to lots of bat speed through the zone. He uses a no stride technique to stay on time and was able to drive the ball over the left field fence with ease today.
Eli Naylor (2028 SS, Lerona, WV) has a smooth operation at the plate that he is able to repeat well. He has a longer swing through the zone that allows him to leverage the ball into the gaps. He showed nice power potential at the plate today.
Xavier Aguila (2026 SS, Lewis Center, OH) has a strong frame that he pairs with a slightly uphill swing that allows him to generate nice pop off the bat. He looks to do damage to the pull side of the field and does not miss when the ball is middle-in.
