Batting Practice Highlights >>

Preston Emmons took a quality round of BP, getting the front foot down on time while creating nice separation and extension out front, living in the middle of the field.

 

Evan Goodmon showed quickness in his hands throughout his round, staying short and direct with plenty of quickness in them as he squared balls up rather consistently.

 

Kameron Battle was able to create some loud contact at the point of contact when he was on time, showing fast hands with impact at the point of contact. 

 

Colin Anderson lived comfortably to the pull side, creating solid lift through the point of contact with some back spin and carry.

 

Jovani Zara found his timing and connection in his swing, comfortably working to the pull side and projects nicely with additional physical strength. 

 

Isaias Torres utilized his physical strength well in the left-handed swing, impacting baseballs to the poolside with authority off of the barrel. 

 

Weylen Rodriguez put a whippy barrel on display and was able to get the barrel through the zone with authority, living comfortably to the pull side gap. 

 

Kaleb Foster stayed short and direct to the baseball, living very comfortably to the middle of the field with back spun line drives consistently on every swing. 

 

Jared Flowers found his timing throughout the round and began working back up into center field with line drive contact, showing quickness to his hands. 

 

Adan Diaz came out finding the barrel immediately showing fast hands and a quick barrel, squaring balls up consistently throughout his swing. 

 

Jayden Cunningham was able to drive the ball the other way with some authority, getting the arms extended and using his size to his advantage. 

 

Rylan Beumel showed some quickness in his hands from the left side of the plate, finding his timing and stroke as his round went on. 

 

Angel Montas pummeled baseballs to right field, connecting for some of the hardest hit balls of the first couple groups, including one ball that hit off the top of the wall in the RCF gap. 

 

Sean Rodesiler turned the barrel over consistently and though he’s listed as a primary left-handed arm, it’s a bat to watch with quickness and solid hand-eye coordination. 

 

Henry Semans worked to the pull side, showing balance and timing in his swing with hands that play while creating extension out front. 

 

Robert Mascia gets the most out of his swing as he stays fast and direct to the ball, whipping the barrel through the zone with some impact already at the point of contact.

 

Caden Scott did a nice job of getting on plane and was able to backspin baseballs with a low effort stroke, consistently getting his arms extended out front. 

 

Drew Wagner utilizes a quick and simple move in the box, getting the hands to the ball while working to the middle and pull parts of the field. 

 

Will Biggs is a strongly build right-handed stick who opened up by impacting the ball the other way, showing a heavy barrel with some real jump at the point of contact. 

 

Carter Shouse came out and immediately showed the strength with a home run on his first swing of the round before continuing to impact baseball throughout his round. 

 

Julian Martinez showed a simpler swing in the box, letting the hands go to work with some back spun contact to the pull side. 

 

Ethan Stewart creates some real whip and impact in his swing and the strength is only going to add more in the future, already able to drive the ball with authority to his pull side. 

 

Angel Gonzalez was on the barrel throughout his round of BP, starting with some oppo contact before working his way to the pull side, creating line drive carry off of the barrel. 

 

Dariel Carrion swings the stick with authority and was able to drive the baseball with real life off of the barrel, generating some serious life at the point of contact.

 

Yomar Infante stayed short to the baseball with his hands and showed off some life, driving balls to the gaps throughout. 

 

Jackson Miller did a nice job of generating extension in his swing, getting the barrel out front with balance throughout, squaring the ball up consistently to the middle of the field. 

 

Jack Doss is listed as a primary right-handed pitcher but showed strength in his hands, getting the barrel out front to impact some baseballs with lift out to his pull side. 

 

Aaron Garcia did a nice job of repeating his swing throughout, consistently getting on plane to square up baseballs line to line with solid bat-to-ball skills.

 

Andrew Jackson quickly found his timing and started uncoiling into balls with authority to the pull side, creating lots of back spin to the deeper parts of right field. 

 

Derek Vazquez showcased a real simple swing from the left side, staying short with the hands while creating some jump off of the barrel when able to get the hands and barrel extended out front. 

 

Trendyn Motley showed the upside from the left side of the plate, generating some solid bat speed through the zone and strength to the pull side when he got the barrel out front. 

 

Ivan Andino got the barrel out front throughout the round, turning around baseballs while showing the ability to lift the ball out front. 

 

Samuel Vatterott is a strongly built right-handed bat and he was able to turn around the baseball with ease, showing the makings of solid strength already. 

 

Lucas Smith continued to show off the strength in his right-handed swing, impacting some balls back up the middle throughout his round with some carry. 

 

Levi Leathers utilizes his size to create some real separation in his swing, getting the barrel out front with some jump when on time and squared up. 

 

Max Maher lived on the barrel throughout his round, creating some torque in his swing while impacting the baseball out to his pull side with some solid carry. 

 

Easton Brunson can incorporate his physical strength well with a couple of loud blasts out to his pull side, staying short to the ball with a full finish through it. 

 

Liam Collier lived on the barrel early, consistently turning the barrel with strength at impact and carrying balls to the pull side when leveraged.

 

Maksim Neshov showed things to like right away from the left side as he fired the barrel with big intent and produced strong liners to the middle before spraying the field from the right side.

 

Gavin Greene showed real power upside as there’s looseness to how he gets the barrel through and already can carry the ball a good bit to the pull side.

 

Max Brown had some inconsistency to the path but showed big flashes as he hit a couple balls up against the wall to the pull side in the middle part of the round.

 

Brenly Oaks got into a real groove as he lived to the pull gap in the middle of his round, staying on the barrel and showing quality bat speed to build on.

 

Adrian Henriquez showed some big traits, firing the barrel with some of the better bat speed of the day and can really lean on some when he gets connected with separation.

 

Derek Wenzel has looseness to the hands and is consistently on the barrel as he wore out the middle and pull gap with contact that projects well as he adds.

 

Sean Burgess lived on a line to the pull side and has enough size, hand speed and contact skill to project good things on.

 

Anthony Huaranga had good flashes in his round when he’s able to get out on time as he can produce really good carry to the pull side.

 

Luke Esquivel was consistently on the barrel, staying on a line to the middle early and getting the ball in the air with some strength later in the round.

 

Hudson Simmons was on the barrel throughout using fast hands and a compact stroke to spray the field with well-struck liners.

 

Braylon Edwards showed some good things on both sides of the plate as he stays short to the ball and can wear out the middle of the field with occasional jump at impact.

 

Christopher Amador swings a heavy barrel and leaned on some balls to the pull gap that were sent a good ways.

 

Brendan Blankenship was consistent in his round, maintaining a good approach and showing strength that plays in getting the ball in the air with carry.

 

Joshua Diaz showed really intriguing bat speed and without really engaging the lower half, can create some serious jump off the barrel to all parts of the field.

 

Caleb Hernandez showed some twitch to the wrists and can create good impact when it’s all synced up.

 

Jared Rivera was all over the barrel in his round, wearing out on the middle on a line and then opening the front hip and lifting balls well to the pull side.

 

Lio Garcia has really fast hands and delivers the barrel with authority as he can impact balls well to all parts of the field when timed.

 

Emerson Morris had a solid round, showing real jump when he gets leveraged and overall a good feel for the barrel.

Brayden Landry took a good under control round staying to the pull side with a simple approach and steadily hitting liners to the pull side part of the field.

 

Joel Vargas has a sweet combination of fluidity and bat speed that allows him to be consistently on the barrel and create good impact.

 

Nathaniel Maldonado showed some real jump off the barrel in parts of his round, firing on time and leveraging the barrel well.

 

Will Siddons showed consistency in finding the barrel and maintained a good approach start to finish in his round.

 

Tyler Priest showed some real impact off the barrel as he worked to lift throughout and carried some a long way to the middle.

 

Yu Suefuji had some real flashes as he ambushed balls out front and hammered them tp the pull side when he was synced up.

 

Ian Tseng has real upside given the control of the barrel and consistency in which he creates hard line drive contact.

 

Brendan Kutz showed some real strength off the barrel, consistently firing the hands on time and creating steady leverage on his well-lifted contact.

 

Dylan Bowman showed some flashes of good impact as he can lag the barrel and carry balls a long way to the middle of the field.

 

Kaleb Williams found his groove and started to split both gaps, getting the barrel out front with some real juice coming off the barrel, sending his last swing deep to the left-center field gap.


Brnadon Perkins Jr. shows looseness in his hands and was able to showcase the strength in his hands as he struck one line drive hard off the left field wall, jumping off his barrel in a hurry.

 

Richie Avina showed balance in his swing and rhythm in his hands, sending balls line to line while working on the barrel pretty consistently throughout his swing. 

 

Liam Zeller is a physical right-handed bat who utilized his strength well, staying direct to the ball with his hands while impacting it to all fields. 

 

Hunter Elmore was able to immediately find the barrel at the start of his round and incorporated his strength well to barrel baseball with some authority to both the middle and pull side parts of the field. 

 

Owen Burnes is able to create some separation in his swing and impact the baseball with authority, getting extended out front at the point of contact to impact the baseball. 

 

Dominic Muccia was able to control the barrel well through the zone, working the ball around to all parts of the field with comfort. 

 

Bobby Arnold III showed looseness in his hands throughout his round, comfortably working back up the middle with line drive carry coming off. 

 

Ben Jacobus was consistently on the barrel throughout his round, making tight turns while living with comfort to the pull side on a line drive plane. 

 

Bryan Mesa was excellent in driving the ball to the middle of the field, showing some of the better bat speed with low effort and has limitless power upside.

 

Grayson Fontaine showed off some real strength in his swing, going onto the berm in left field with a deep blast, impacting the ball consistently to the pull side. 

 

Ryder Sowa was really consistent in his round, living to the middle and pull gap with easy bat speed.

 

Calvin Stanczyk found the barrel consistently, using both gaps with an under control approach.

 

Sammy Garcia showed a balanced set up at the plate with fast hands, getting the barrel out front with consistent line drive contact to the pull side with some intriguing strength.


Gavin Boykin has gotten the barrel on the baseball consistently, working up the middle with his stroke while remaining short to the ball. 

 

Madden Pike swung it well on both sides of the plate, showing real bat speed and getting good separation to steadily drive the ball in the air to the middle.

 

Luis Olmeda utilized his strength well to generate separation and bat speed in the swing, impacting the baseball to all parts of the field with regularity. 

 

Caleb Alexander worked steadily to the middle of the field and the consistency of the barrel stood out, creating easy back spin on pitches at the top of the zone.

 

Alan Zimmerman was on the barrel throughout his round of BP, staying shorter to the ball from launch and showed some present impact strength. 

 

Aiden Kearney took a balanced swing throughout his round, working consistently to the middle and pull side parts of the field with an easy, leveraged swing.

 

DJ Ford has fast hands and was able to produce some damage in the box when he got the barrel out front and lifting it deep to the outfield. 

 

Joshua Messer showed quick hands with a tight turn, spinning on baseballs to the pull side while showing balance throughout. 

 

Francis Conners-Schmid was loud throughout his round, consistently lifting the ball to deep parts of the yard and showing a big combination of explosiveness and present juice.

 

Nolan Slaymaker used his physicality to hit balls both hard and a long way as he can get separated and leverage the barrel well.

 

Brooks DeRosa found his swing and timing as his round progressed, creating leverage to the pull side with lift through the point of contact thanks to a simple swing in the box. 

 

Levi Abrego took a really good round, getting separated with bat speed and steadily back-spinning the baseball deep to the pull side.

 

Deniel Gonzalez showed strength off the barrel on both sides of the plate, staying under control and working to both gaps from both sides.

 

Colin Raymond has some real strength in his left-handed swing and was able to impact the ball with some serious authority to the middle and pull side gap.

 

Rylan Jenkins was able to create a tight turn in his swing, turning around baseballs to the pull side with some solid life off of the barrel. 

 

Isaiah Cador lived on the barrel, showing simplicity to his approach and enough hand speed to drive balls to both gaps.

 

Gabriel Coupet showed quickness to his hands throughout his round, working line drive contact to the middle of the field. 

 

Dexter McCleon Jr was on time from the start, getting separated out front with solid bat speed and strength at the point of contact throughout his round. 

 

Lennex Minor showed quickness to his hands throughout the round, working to the pull side with contact and lift through it.

 

Jacob Gray was steadily timed up and on the barrel, living to the pull side with strength off the barrel.

 

Orlando Oates showed good flashes as the combination of bat speed and how well he fires the hips creates real impact to the middle of the field.

 

Dru Wilson lived on the barrel, showing excellent hand-eye and spraying the field with well-struck contact.
